Feel Better Now Psychotherapy & Counselling is a licensed Psychotherapist based in the GTA - here to guide you through life’s most complex and difficult matters. I truly care about my clients’ well-being and provide counseling and psychological services catered to their needs.
On our first meeting, you will feel at ease with my warm, patient, detail-oriented, and easy manner. Using a strengths-based perspective, I will help you find your voice, feel more empowered and uncover the resources you can draw upon to move forward. I will work in collaboration with you (and your partner or family members), blending Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Interpersonal therapy (IPT) and Mindfulness, to find the best fit and toolkit for you and your specific circumstances.
I offer psychotherapy & counselling to individuals, teens, couples, families and groups in a safe, confidential and culturally supportive environment. I have experience in a variety of issues including:
family crisis, parenting issues, abuse and trauma, communication, separation and divorce, grief and loss, anger, depression, anxiety and interpersonal relationships.
I have a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology and am a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). In addition to my therapeutic training, I was also a teacher for many years. I speak English, Urdu, and basic conversational French.
